Past President of Pro Bono Law Alberta (PBLA), a Society working to increase access to justice for disadvantaged Albertans. PBLA was formally launched as the legacy project of the Law Society of Alberta in 2007. Rod served as it's first President and remains Chair of the Advisory Board. Rod pursues his interest in international justice and human rights issues as an extension of his practice in civil litigation and appellate work.

Preferred Areas of Practice:

Practice concentrated on civil litigation at trial and appellate levels. Has conducted numerous trials and appeals, and handled a variety of litigation files, including land disputes, serious motor vehicle accidents, commercial disputes, constitutional and administrative law cases, fraudulent preference and fraud actions, foreclosure, bank litigation, insurance litigation, environmental claims and professional negligence claims.
